On most occasions, I have bloodshot eyes and have pressure on my eyes when I venture into bright sunlight, I have a number when I checked last time but don't wear lenses and my work profile get me to work on computers for around 9-10 hours a day. Should I get my eyes checked or can you recommend some exercises to sooth the eye?

A red eye is a very common condition, an eye that appears red due to illness or injury. Fortunately, many a time, the red eye is of short duration, not very troublesome, and resolves by itself. Simple red eyes usually clear by remedies such as washing with plain cold water, applying cold packs to closed eyes, taking a short period of rest, etc. The glasses prescribed for you should be used everyday. Take frequent short breaks while working on computer. If no relief with these simple measures, then you should consult an ophthalmologist.
