Hi... Why would you try a new clinic for not liking frames ? So now , you are utterly confused.  These mild differences are normal ...wherever you were comfortable during check up ..go for that number.

You're bound to get 0.25-0.50 difference even if you get it checked at the same centre on 2 different days. It's based on subjective response which means your response. These 4 differences in power are insignificant according to me. If your age is 42, you're bound to get a reading number as well. Please provide details of the same.

Did you get a dilated checkup done? If not, would suggest you to get it done for accurate refraction and prescription.
