If you are using conventional soft contact lenses switch to monthly disposables. They are of a different material and may cause less irritation. If already on monthly or fortnightly disposables, see that you don’t wear the contact lenses for more than 8-10 hours at a stretch. If you need to wear for longer, remove the lenses for 30 minutes after 6-8 hours ; then re wear them for another 6-8 hours instead of continuous wear for 12-16 hours.
