Eye cataract -lost vision for one eye

Hi everyone My mother had eye cataract she didn't went for any checkup previously ,she lost vision for one eye and for other eye it is blurred vision.after she lost vision she went hospital and came to know it is because of eye cataract. Is she need immediate operation or can we wait as situation is not good these days because of Corona. Please suggest sir /madam . Thanks in advance.

If the vision is lost because of cataract, it means the cataract is mature enough to be operated. Consult an Ophthalmologist and let them decide whether there is an ungency to operate or not.

It can wait if it is only cataract. If it is anything else such as glaucoma or retinal disease it cannot wait.
