Extreme itching ( scabies )
I am having extreme itching all over the body , and it intensifies during the night . Even applying permethricin for 2 weeks ( once each week ) the itching did not stop completely . Some relief is there though. It makes me not sleeping in the night and I am also afraid that it is contagious

It is contagious...have to follow the precautions and get your family members treated if they also have symptoms...itching will be there for 3 weeks after you begin treatment because it is due to hypersensitivity...you can take antihistamines for 3 weeks...
