Extensive hairfall and full of dandruff
I am having so much hairfall and its becoming more and more daily after shampooing also.Dandruff is all around my hair. While Oiling also I am surprised to see my hairloss. A small white colour always come with my hair tip when it comes out. It's like thick solid form.This is there in my scalp too and stays after doing hair bath too. I want to know what to do and is it a very serious problem.

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin.
