How does a dentist analyses whether there is a pain through dentin exposure or not. my 6 no. tooth removed 8 months ago. 7 no. dentin exposed sideways . can x rays check this. what is the thickness of enamel sideways

Do a x-ray of that tooth....then u can confirm about dentin exposure....enamel thickness at cusp tip 2-2.5mm...gradually decreases to CEJ.....
