Experiencing side effects of skinlite

I used skin lite for 2 months an year ago.for the past 2 months hyperpigmentation devoloped on the upper part of my cheeks,i cosulted dermatologist and had chemical peels done,but yet the results werent satisfactory,i took lot of medications and finally started using skin lite for the past 2 days.please guide me with precautions and remove steroids
