Hi It's used to expand the upper jaw in cases where the space is deficient as compared to the teeth present. It helps in esthetic and functional improvement of Upper Jaw. It has age limitation for usage. The screw has to be activated either once or twice a week depending upon the response of patient. Dr. Shilpy Dwivedi MDS
