6 months ago, I had laparoscopic right inguinal hernia surgery done. There will be mild pain in the mesh area rarely these days. Is it fine to do exercises like abdominal crunches where there'llbe immense pressure on abdomen?

“Sthiram sukham aasanam “(स्थिरम् सुखम् आसनम”) This is the definition of aasanas or the exercise - positions of the body in which position one can comfortably be sthir or stable for sometime …. This should NOT , I repeat NOT be rigorous at any moment of the exercise / asan So, answer to your question is that no strenuous and exhaustive kind of exercise is advisable in even normal people at any stage of life which will produce muscle pain and stiffness later on . Rather in your case you can do abdominal asanas of the kind of pawanmuktaasana kind of asanas related to the abdomen which apart from not being strenuous and injurious to the inguinal area are effective in the flow of praana or the life energy through the tissues in and around the inguinal and surrounding regions.

Health Tips
NEVER EVER DO STRENUOUS EXERCISES LIKE IN THE GYM WHICH ARE NOT ONLY INJURIOUS TO THE HEALTH, INCREASE THE BASAL METABOLIC RATE OF THE BODY AND DISTURB THE HOMEOSTASIS , BUT ALSO LATER PRODUCE PAIN IN THE REGION AND MAY ALSO DISTURB THE MESH REPAIR DONE BY INCREASING ENORMOUSLY THE MUSCLE TONE
