Excessive seasonal cough

Every season change, I get this viral fever accompanied by cough. After the fever, the cough remains for 2-3 weeks. This year, it's quite different. Due to cough , I can't even sleep. This happened earlier, but this year, it's really unbearable. Any suggestion ? My cough is very dry and I can not spit phlegm much. I have to force it through vomit. Shall I be looking at TB , bronchitis etc?
