My 2 month old son hits himself and mattress a lot with the back of his hands when he wakes up. Tries to scratch eyes i guess. This happens everytime he wakes up for a good amount of time. Is this normal

It is normal. Is there a skin rash ? Is he scratching his skin also ? You can apply siloderm ointment to skin if so
