My ESR is showing 50 mm/hr... What does it mean...I'm going to meet my doc in the evening...till then any idea...?

Hi It just indicates ongoing infection or inflammation in the body... ESR is highly non specific...... It should be correlated with clinical findings as well as other reports to arrive at a diagnosis.........
