Hello, I had approached a doctor for hair loss treatment 3 years ago and I was advised to take Finastride tablets (Finpecia or Finarex) daily once. Within 8 to 12 months I felt a complete loss of libido and Erectile Dysfunction. I stopped taking the tablets and it has been more than 2 years now. I have the desire back but the ED remained. I also had started taking Charak Vigomax tablets which helped - but just a bit. I had taken various ayurvedic tablets but am sticking to Charak now and plan to take it twice daily for few months with hope. Are the sexual side effects of Finastride permanent? What should I do to recover?
