Sonography report states 24*20*13 mm sized inflammed echogenic omentum in the left iliac fossa. Possibility of Epiploic Appendagitis/Omental Infraction. What does it means and what precaution needs to be taken?

If Patient is symptomatic or has any pain etc then this finding is SIGNIFICANT otherwise it may just be some mild non SIGNIFICANT radiological finding. If SIGNIFICANT, this is a rare Inflammatory condition which can settle with  Treatment.
