Ent problem

My left side tonsil is swallen....right side is ok but leftt has swallen very much...it is paining sometimes.....what to do.....any home treatment.......i m taking antibiotics also but its not going.....

It could be Quincy(peritonsillar abscess...which could rapidly become a medical emergency! If I were you, I would rush to a good ENT Surgeon near me.. Feel free to drop in to my clinic Healthcare@Basaveshwaranagar if you are residing in West Bangalore

unilateral enlargement of tonsil is not a common common problem and if its present then needs to be evaluated properly. but it has to be diagnosed by a qualified ENT because self examination of throat is not easy and many times misleading. kindly consult nearby ENT specialist so he can confirm any pathology
