Emergency pill doubt
My friend had unprotected sex on oct 12th....and she took emergency contraceptive pill idoz-72 4 hours later.....but she had dark brown coloured heavy bleeding on oct 26th.....when her expected periods date was nov 4th.....is she now in risk of pregnancy even after having the pill? Will she have her periods on nov 4th?

Emergency contraception especially the ipill does have its own failure rate and can never be 100% effective at preventing an unwanted pregnancy. The only way to know if she is pregnant is to do a urine pregnancy test if the period is delayed by more than seven days. The only way to reliably prevent an unwanted pregnancy is to use a reliable a method of contraception in addition to condoms. There are several highly effective reliable reversible methods of contraception that are readily available in India and are underutilised because of myths in the minds of women. Preventing an unwanted pregnancy is always safer than a termination of pregnancy.
