He is Hep B patient (known for 7 years). Going for regular health checkup, last few years he has mild fatty liver and increased SGPT/SGOT. His HBV DNA is -VE. This year his SGPT/SGOT is normal but AST is slightly high from normal range (~10% high). His ultrasound report is normal (again mild fatty liver ) Height: 5 foot 6 inch Weight 72 Kg What should be our next steps (in past we have gone series of test suggested by doctor and each time only SGPT/SGOT was abnormal and rest of the test were normal). Does 10% high AST suggest liver is having any minor or major issue?
