Ectopic pregnancy recurrence
Hi, I had been operated for ectopic pregnancy on 24th June 2017 & one fallopian tube was removed. I started taking folic acid tablet from October 2017. I had mild cramps day before yesterday and when I took a home pregnancy test, it was mildly positive. I am afraid if I will have recurrence of ectopic again. My period is due on 13th Jan 2018. How early can I know if is have ectopic again or not ? Should I visit doctor now or after 13th ? Please guide

Hi, visit doctor immediately, at least she will know about history and can react immediately if you have severe pain abdomen. Ectopic recurrence can happen. One method to confirm an healthy pregnancy is do Beta hcg now and repeat after 48hrs,doubling will be there in its value. Needs, early ultrasound to know the site of pregnancy.
