My mother got her echo 2d done along with chest ct scan today Below are results of echo 2d SCLEROTIC AORTIC VALVE MILD AORTIC REGURGITATION  MILD MITRAL REGURGITATION  MODERATE  TRICUSPID REGURGITATION  PULMONARY HYPERTENSION. PASP : 56  mmHg  CONCENTRIC LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY ADEQUATE LV SYSTOLIC FUNCTION. EF : 55  % NO CLOTS / PERICARDIAL EFFUSION/ VEGETATION.        *And below is result from ct chest scan Fibrotic bands seen in bilateral spices Rest all normal Is this cause for worry..as of now she is on BP medication and thyroid medication..has no breathlessness at home only finds difficult to climb stairs or walk for more than 10 mins

Hi, The ECHO report shows degenerative changes in heart valve which is likely to be age related. Moderate TR and PAH is mainly due to involvement of the lungs and can lead to effort tolerance which is evident from the history of breathlessness. CT Thorax report is suggestive of apical fibrotic involvement which may be due to old infectious aetiology.
Next Steps
Visiting a cardiologist and a pulmonologist will be necessary for management to TR/PAH which is more likely due to the lung involvement.
