Hi, I need some information on ECG test.. My mother is planning eye surgery for Cataract and gave sample for prescribed test before surgery.. How many days before should patient can do ECG test for eye surgery?

ECG should be done within one month before the date of surgery.so get it done with the rest for the blood investigations.the nearer to the surgery date the better.though fitness is must for the surgery.

Whenever you get blood investigations done. Get an ECG also done. You got to show this to Dr for deciding the date for surgery. May vary from centre to centre.
