I am diagnosed with otitis media with effusion. The ENT Doctor I consulted said that it can cause vertigo but not balancing issues. But I have been having balancing issues. Vertigo is very light just 10%. Balancing is affecting my everyday life. My query is can ear Infection cause balancing problems or is the doctor I consulted correct? Please answer me. I am very worried.

Restoration of the functioning of the eustachian tube is necessary to prevent stimulation of the inner ear structures which will otherwise cause both hearing and balance related instability.
