My father, age 85, is suffering from Dysphagia(swallowing difficulty+ vocal palsy) for 3 months. He can take one or two types of smooth liquid food, nothing else. He lost weight (55 to 45 kg now) and is weak. Also, in the liquid, he can barely take half cup for every hours. The food should be very smooth texture otherwise it enters his lungs(aspirations due to vocal cord palsy) & he coughs a lot ENT, Gastro specialists ruled out problems and suggested to contact Neuro specialist. But I am not sure what to do. He is very tired and weak & so I scared to take him outside of the house
