Dydrogestrone after 3 days of ovulation

Dr. Suggested me to take dydrogestrone IP 10 MG for 2 weeks twice a day. But google shows it helps in menstruation. I am so confused . I want to get pregnant She did my follicular study which showed egg ruptured on the 15th day of LMP.
