Duphaston tablet with negative pregnancy

I am due (43days from my last mensus start date). Pregnancy test (urine and bhcg) is negative on 40th day. Doctor has prescribed duphaston tablet for 7days (twice a day) and then test for pregnancy. My husband has a doubt if it's safe to have intercourse in this situation. 1) will having intercourse lead to nil change for pregnancy, if it's delay in reflecting of pregnancy for me. 2) will intercourse in this situation will lead to me getting mensus before stopping the medication, since doctor has mentioned the moment I stop the medication, i have a chance to get my mensus (if I am not pregnant). Kindly help me understanding.

Duphaston is given to regularise menses and to support a pregnancy whatever the case be 1) having intercourse will not delay results 2)no you will mostly get menses after the full course...in any case having intercourse will not charge the time you will get menses Connect with me on consult for further query

Beta HCG test is already negative chances of pregnancy are extremely rare and having intercourse is neither going to have an effect on pregnancy nor going to have an effect on your periods... so you can resume your sexual life
