Duphaston and low progesterone issue

I have low progesterone issue and have had 2miscarriages.Can I take duphaston as soon as I feel pregnancy symptoms or a positive test on my own? Doctor doesn't prescribe me until she sees a sac or heartbeat.but if I dont take progesterone soon my pregnancy won't last until that.what should I do? Wait or take duphaston myself? I know it should be taken from day 16-25.but I didn't take it that way since I didn't plan pregnancy this month.now I'm on day 20 and doubtful due to symptoms.
