Dryness on face after applying Derivacms

Consuming C Doxy and applying Deriva cms gel daily night for acne, as prescribed by the Doctor. Doctor suggested me to continue the medication 1 month. Now my face has become extra dry(little burning also) after applying deriva cms gel for 5 days. Do I need to consult the Doctor now or can I continue with that by applying some moisturizer..Please help. Thank you
