There are many causes for chronic dry cough which sometimes requires multiple tests to identify the cause. Tests may include pulmonary function tests, x ray of chest, CT scan of thorax, allergy tests etc. You need to consult nearby pulmonologist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
