I have been facing this problem from quite a long time. When I go to bed and try to sleep I find my throat itching and I start coughing. It's dry no doubt. And the moment I give up sleeping cough stops.

Tab.Atarex 10 mg one tablet OD Gargles with 1 tab Disprin dissolved in one cup water twice daily. Stop smoking, if you do. Stop sour foods, Pickles. For ten days.
