Sir/ Maam 17 days back I had an comprehensive eye examination including fundus examination . So my myopic number was stable. Now since I had headache since 6 days along with nausea I again went to a optometry shop. Now he says right eye number increased by 0.5 How can it be possible? I have observed this last year too. Once number is checked it's found to be stable then again some eye or other problem occur within 15 days n again I have to check it from some other place... Is there any under lying disease am suffering from which makes 0.5 increase in 17 days but in clinic they say all is ok then? Both the drs report and optometry number is attached. The later is a bit blurr. Please adjust and guide.

If you have been given a number by your doctor you much rely on that more than optometrist.. also sometimes there may be a particular number on the machine but when the doctor tries the number you may accept a little higher or lower number

Hi.. Get your number checked from 1 place preferably . Small change in number can be seen if checked with different people , places erc...it is not significant. Every headache is not due to chbahe in eye number ...especially with nausea...investigate other causes of headache like migraine, sinusitis etc ... Chnajgi 0.5 number is not going to solve issues ...

0.5 D in cylinder power should be changed. But I would request you to not buy costly glasses. Better buy plain white glasses without any AR coating. In case you are having headaches and nausea issue you should also take medication for the same. For that you can show to some nearby general physician, so that they can rule out sinusitis also
Next Steps
Change in glasses of one eye-Right eye only. Show to some physician nearby.

0.50 change in number isn't a significant change. It's subjective and not an actual change. And such a minor change will not cause headache. Headache associated with nausea is more of a migraine rather than because of the change in the spectacle number.
Next Steps
Continue using your current glasses.
