Doubt regarding cholecystitis
2 years back I had severe pain my upper stomach. Tests showed that I had an inflammation in gall bladder. I had no gall stones. Doctor prescribed medicine and I drank buttermilk daily and it got resolved. I didnt know the reason Why gall bladder had inflammation. I had low fat diet for 6 months. Doctor said it's a Acalculus cholecystitis. Also please tell me what foods are good and bad for gall bladder
Acalculous cholecystitis is a hypokinetic condition of gallbladder emptying.
It often presents as an acute ailment (acute cholecystitis), but it can also exhibit more chronic (chronic cholecystitis)
There can be many causes like infections, diabetes, inflammation, prolonged fasting, etc
