Hi Am 25 week pregnant ,my sister is suffering from down syndrome, will there be any effect on my baby , as it is genetic problem. My double marker test reports are as :levels of free b HCG 50.23 IU/I at 09/12/2015 : 1.65 MoM. Levels of PAPP-A 5767 mLU/l at 09/12/2015 : 1.41 MoM. Down Syndrome risk 1:9185 low risk, Edwards' and patau's syndrome risk less than 1 :100000 low risk. My doctor did not suggested any other tests because my friend doctor suggested triple marker to her recently even though there is no genetically related issues in her family. are the reports fine.because of this am not able to concentrate on anything. i know it is late to ask but wanted to cross check on this.Thanks inadvance
