Double vision!!

Respected doctor's I want to know whether sudden double vision is always because of brain or any other issues?? My dad is having double vision and slight  blurred vision but no other symptoms His sugar,BP and cholesterol are normal We are really scared coz online aricles suggests that double vision can be caused by problems in brain..please reply 🙏🙏

It could be due to infection, inflammation , pressure on the nervesor diabetes ..nerves originate from brain ..so any thing in brain can cause this ..
Next Steps
Better to follow with Eye specialist n discuss rather than online information....can be overwhelming at times
