Double vision in right eye
I am experiencing double vision in my right eye .
I consulted a near by eye specialist amd got my retina scanned along with field of view test and oct aswell
The doctor said i must be having anxiety related issues as they did find and problem with my eyes. I have no headache or balance related issue , neither am i forgetful or confused.
The double vision that i am experiencing its like a ghost image on top of the normal image. I cant notice it in well lit areas . Its specially noticable around contrasting colours especially white letters on black background .
please check if the double vision present with both eyes open and not when only one eye is open.
if it occurs when one eye is closed then identify which eye has the double vision
if so that is the eye with the problem.
most likely it could be related to your spectacle power you may need glasses.
if however it occurs only when both eyes are open then it is more serious and could be either related to the imbalance of eye muscles or neurological.
from your history I do not see any reason to either to VISUAL FIELDS OR OCT unless there was some finding in the retinal or optic disc examination
