Thank you for your question. You do not state if you took tablets at a recognised centre or over the counter, what duration the pregnancy was on ultrasound scan. The amount of bleeding depends on the gestational age of the pregnancy although approx 10% of pregnancies less than 6 weeks can also bleed excessively and need surgical evacuation to stop the bleeding. You need to see your gynaecologist for further evaluation. They will be able to decide if you need a surgical procedure. hope this helps
