My mother went for walk on 2nd march morning when the dog came running to her with open mouth and dashed with her knees. There is minor scar on her skin. She was wearing saree then. The dog was a pet and was vaccinated but since last one month we had left it out. We had taken her to hospital and got tetanus injection within few hrs of the incident. Also have got first shot of rabies vaccination. I want to knw how much risk is there. Wat all oral medicines to be taken. The precaution to be adopted. The dog being a pet is finding it difficult to cope witj outside world. Till date it is fine but have had some scars on his body after the incidents. May be some dog bite. Kindly help me and guide me. I am very worried about my mother.
