As per the national guidelines on rabies prophylaxis, immunoglobulin injections have to be given on zero day (the day of the bite). If it is not given on the day of the bite and you started vaccination, then you have a maximum of a week time. Within 7 days, you can go for immunoglobulin injection. Beyond 7 days, it is not indicated. In your case, it is the 4th day, so you can go for immunoglobulin injection.
