I got bitten by a dog and had four shots of anti rabies vaccine,the dog seemed to develop certain complications and died a week later.it's been two months of now having been completed the 4th shot of vaccine,and now my two month puppy(whom I brought few days ago) had bite my finger and i had bleeding,shd I have another anti rabies vaccine?do tell..

For repeat dog bite, only two doses of anti rabies Vaccine are to be given on day 0 and 3, whatever is the interval from primary vaccination. Maximum duration of immunity found has been 25 years post immunization. Ten years is the presumed duration, one has sufficient immunity.
