My toddler is 20 months old, she speaks words like apple, cat, duck, says car when shee sees it, says auto when she sees, when I ask her to come she comes. But if I point and ask her in a book, she doesn't say, but she reads the whole colors books exactly the color that is present in the page. She recognises the fruits and says it. But when I ask doesn't bother to say. I put rhymes for an hour in a day, she humms and sings them. Why is this behaviour of not bothering to say wen I point things in a book or wen I ask?
