Hello Doctor, my mother (Dilshad, 60 years old) has severe dental infection. The dentist has advised the extraction of around 12 teeth in total (both upper and lower jaw). I am very concerned and want to know if removing upper or lower teeth can have any negative effect or damage on her eyes, vision, or optic nerves. Could you please clarify as an ophthalmologist?
