Dizziness and nausea vomiting
My sister suffering from dizziness and vomting since two days when she move downward upward
suddenly wake up from bed then dizziness happening. Since two days she taking tablets prescribed by doctor but no cure.
Tab. Stugil
Tab. Pratzac
Tab. Granifort md
Tab. Betavert 16 mg.. These medicines taken by her but she is not cure Only 1 day feel some relax but now again dizziness happening.
She is 23 years old.
This is first time she is in this condition. Never happen before.
Please suggest what happened and what we do in this lockdown situation.
Mostly as per history is suggestive of acute vestibular neuritis. Needs to be examined to rule out other causes.
In initial 5-7 days of illness if steroids are given short course, it will be much helpful.
Vestibular suppressant I think STEMITIL 5 mg bd for 5 days is sufficient.usually no need for long term meds.
Plenty of hydration.
Avoid salt,spicy food.
Meditation, Relaxation exercises.
No neck exercises as of now.
Vestibular rehabilitation exercises will be helpful after initial few days of illness.
But discuss once with the treating nearby doctor
Who can examine u detailly.
