Just regularising periods won’t help. In pcos the main issue is with egg development, which if not happened there is no chance of pregnancy.
1.Lifestyle modification:
Continue your exercise routine
Take high protein diet like egg whites, sprouts, green leafy vegetables
Limit carbohydrates like rice, sugars
Drink plenty of water 3-4 litres per day
Avoid junk food
2. Get your harmones
fsh and
lh done on day 2 of your period.
3. Tubal evaluation is required, hsg test on day 7 of your period
4. Husband semen analysis
5.You can take tablets for ovulation induction that is letrozole 2.5 mg twice a day for 5 days starting on day 2 of your period and go for follicular study with doctor guidance to check the egg development on day 9,11 and you can take an injection for egg release depending on the egg size and you can try in that period which increases the chance of pregnancy. You can try in this method for atleast 3 months. If there is no result, you need to step up your treatment.
Next steps can be taking injectables after oral medication followed by iui.
