Different test results.

Hello, I recently took blood test, one for cortisol came out as too low, it was 1.2, they sent me to endocrinologist and he said I take the test again, it came back normal. Now I am confused, I feel sick and almost all tests came out negative. Is it the diagnostic centers faking results? Because every one provides different values.

Unlikely. Cortisol is higher in the morning and lower in the evening. Also different labs have different assays ans should have different cutoffs. Important is why you got the test done if no symptoms!
