Sedation a state somewhere between being very sleepy, being relaxed in consciousness, and yet not unconscious, characterizes sedation. The patients will not feel pain, but are aware of what is going on around them. patients maintain their natural physiological reflexes and are capable of breathing on their own under sedation Anesthesia Is just making patient insensitive to pain In general anesthesia both sedation and anesthesia are used in combine for better effect
