Dialysis patient can't sleep at night

My mother is on haemodialysis thrice a week since November, she's been diabetic for 22 years. Initially she was stable but for since last month she has been having major pressure and sugar fluctuations, restlessness and is not able to sleep at night even post medication. From November to January she was in Calcutta and from February onwards she has moved with me to Bangalore. On days when she sleeps well at night she's fine but on most of the days she can't sleep and hence suffers through the day. What can be done to improve this?

Hi , Low volume music of her choice in the room with lights off will help to induce her the sleep causing No Side-effects &any contraindications.

You would have to consult your nephrologist to determine if a sedative can be given to her or not.
