When I tested my sugar yesterday at home it resulted 220-240 on digital blood sugar testing machine. Earlier I never had sugar problem. Should I visit a doctor or is there anything specific I should avoid eating to reduce sugar.. Plz help.

Hi, one of the criteria for diabetes is Random blood sugar >200mg/dl or higher with classical signs and symptoms.. However, i would suggest you to undergo FBS, OGTT and HbA1c..
