My wife is 4 weeks pregnant.. She is diabetic.. Taking metformin SR 500 twice a day... Her fasting sugar is coming 110-120 and pp 150-170. Hba1c last month was 5.9..we still have to go for hba1c test after confirmed pregnancy Till What level of blood sugar can we continue with metformin.

In pregnancy we try to maintain fasting sugar less than 95 n post meal less than 140 Beyond that the dose of medicine needs to be adjusted
