My mother is having high sugar from past 10 years ,initially sugar control was good however from last 2 years she is taking Insulin injections as prescribed by Doctor. HB1AC was 9.5. Insulin : Lantus 250 ( 26 at 9 PM ) ( earlier mix tard injections then replace by Lantus ). Her fasting is generally 200+ is the major challenge. Please see attached prescription for more details. Please suggest diet and what else required to make sugar under control , specially fasting sugar.
