My husband was just diagnosed with diabetes in February and already has sores that could turn into diabetes complications so our podiatrist is observing it. Can Type 2 diabetes have complications that quick?

complications of diabetes are usually seen few years after diagnosis. It is possible that your husband might have had diabetes for some time before it was diagnosed.It is good that you are seeing a podiatrist. You may also want to see a well qualified diabetologist with experience in management of diabetic foot.
