How should control n end up with diabetes my dad has diabetes and he has joint knee gap pain he shud do surgery how to cure it

Dear... Surgery and diabetes are really very critical...and any surgery done...can lead to infections...so ideally try to control sugar well in advance before surgery Please switch over to insulin..to prevent from infection
